Sneak Peek: New Backdrop Designs Releasing This Summer!

In support of our clients’ summer performances, TheatreWorld Backdrops has accelerated the production schedule of several of its new signature backdrops. These drops will now be available earlier than previously scheduled so they can debut during the summer months.

Here’s a sneak peek at just some of our new backdrops!

Medieval Castle Interior

Medieval Castle Interior will debut at the annual, themed gathering of Meeting Planners International (MPI). The event is in Miami, at the end of June.

SEUSSICAL at Largo Cultural Center

Next, our new Truffula Tree Forest and Whoville Signature Series Backdrops were delivered to the Largo Cultural Center in Largo, Florida. The drops will support Stages Productions’ first theatre camp of the season.

Castles, Palaces, and Classic Favorites

Additionally, we released several major additions to our Castles and Palaces categories. Check out our newest drops in TheatreWorld’s Latest Backdrops section!

We are also releasing multiple scenic support backdrops in these categories. The sketch below is a draft of one of the new Castle and Balcony Signature Series Backdrops currently in production. It is designed to work seamlessly with TheatreWorld’s new Medieval Castle Exterior and Interior. It can support multiple shows and themes. (Beauty and the Beast, Camelot, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet and more.)

Finally, we are currently re-imagining, re-designing, and producing multiple new scenic backdrops for ten of the most popular musicals. The sketch below is a draft of our new Baroque-style abbey. This drop is currently in production. It will debut in August in the Mid-West in a production of The Sound of Music. We recommend this 25′ Signature Backdrop for many other shows as well. Additionally, we are currently painting the 40′ Signature Series Medieval Cathedral. This drop will be available in a few weeks.

Agrabah Marketplace Now Available!

In other news, TheatreWorld’s new Agrabah Marketplace Signature Series Backdrop is here! The drop is available to support your production of Disney’s ALADDIN. Agrabah Marketplace is a very unique and detailed masterpiece. It will bring authenticity, beauty, and tremendous value to your scenic backdrop package. Audiences of all ages will thoroughly enjoy it.

Additionally, TheatreWorld’s artistic teams are currently painting our new Sultan’s Palace Interior. It will be available to support Disney’s ALADDIN, other shows, and themed events by the end of summer.

TheatreWorld is producing 50 new backdrops this summer. Many of them will be TheatreWorld Signature Series Backdrops. These drops boast high detail and bold colors. They are historically accurate or, alternately, creative works of fantasy. They possess the highest quality of workmanship in the industry. Similarly, TheatreWorld’s New Emerald City will set a new level of excellence. It will be available in time for fall shows and events in limited quantities.
