TheatreWorld’s New Grand Library — Well Worth Waiting For!
TheatreWorld’s creative teams have been working through the summer to design and produce a breathtaking Grand Library. This drop is more than capable of supporting multiple shows. (Including Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST.) We love the results! We look forward to customer feedback.
Grand Library Scenic Backdrop
This Signature Series Backdrop is extremely detailed. It’s architecturally beautiful and quite dramatic. It is definitely a step above! The style and elegance of the Grand Library will enhance scenes that requires a visually dramatic castle or mansion library. In addition to BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, our Directors Round Table is recommending this backdrop for consideration with ANNIE, COPPELIA, THE MUSIC MAN, MY FAIR LADY, and more.
This backdrop will not be available in a 25′ version. However, a more simplex design is in progress. (As an alternative for junior or less full-featured presentations.) The Grand Library will be available in approximately 90 days.
And Coming Very Soon…
TheatreWorld recently began production on our new Olde World Toy Shoppe. The backdrop will be available by November 2nd. This Signature Series backdrop will be simply outstanding. It is designed to support COPPELIA, PINOCCHIO, and multiple holiday shows.
Additionally, our new Signature Series Whoville Christmas backdrop will arrive mid-October and will be available for rent this holiday season. It is based on our new Whoville design. Whoville has received much acclaim and our artists are busy adding holiday spirit and cheer.
Finally, TheatreWorld’s 40′ version of La Ensendada de Musica has gone through several modifications. Now, we have painted it in a more traditional, less stylized fashion. This beautiful new backdrop will debut with a college in Alabama in early November. (They are presenting the Broadway classic GUYS AND DOLLS.)
TheatreWorld looks forward to the upcoming performance season and to making many new friends. There are many new things on the drawing board for early fall. These include our “Signature Series” Mansion exterior, high school exterior, diners, Baltimore street scenes, and more!
