Our creative teams have been hard at work creating innovative new designs for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. Recently, we introduced BELLE’S COTTAGE, a beautifully detailed addition to the Signature Series. Belle’s Cottage sets the scene for any production needing an 18th century or fairy tale feel. Today, we are proud to announce the arrival of yet another exquisite backdrop for Beauty and the Beast: GASTON’S HUNTING LODGE.
Gaston is well known for his villainous characteristics.You’ll want a backdrop that depicts both the pomposity of 18th-century aristocracy and the nefarious interests of Gaston. Our creative teams have brought both of these factors together in a scenic backdrop that drips with historically accurate details. The setting is Gaston’s private hunting lodge, a place where any villain would feel at home.

Introducing Gaston’s Hunting Lodge
The very popular Old World Tavern was the basis for Gaston’s Hunting Lodge. Our creative team has made significant changes and enhancements to truly give the backdrop the feel of an Olde European Gentleman’s Hunting Lodge. Gaston’s lair includes: a strong European style bar, trophies from hunts decorating the walls, as well as plenty of horns and antlers to solidify the Hunting Lodge theme. Our artists’ finishing touch is a full size Kodiak bear. (We have affectionately named him Gaston.) This unique Signature Series backdrop will take productions of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST to an entirely new level. To date, there is not another theater backdrop on the market that provides this wonderful feel for this scene. Those that hint at a proper aristocratic hunting lodge lack the detail and artistry that Gaston’s Hunting Lodge exudes.
