Brand New Backdrops – Spring and Summer 2024
If you haven’t visited our latest backdrops page recently, you might have missed an exciting batch of new backdrops! Over this past few months, we’ve added several gorgeous new designs to our inventory. From undersea adventures to vistas from around the world, there’s so much to explore!
International Adventures
First, explore the halls of our new Vibrant Hacienda backdrop! This magical home was created with the Casita Madrigal from Encanto in mind, but it would be a fantastic choice for any play or musical with a Central American or South American setting. It’s also perfect for Latin dance or Mariachi performances and a wide range of special events. Similarly, bright Bougainvillea Terrace would work beautifully for all the same shows and events. The elegance of the bright pink boughs against the arched doorways is unparalleled!
Next, hop a plane to the French Riviera. Nestled between the sea and mountains, this idyllic waterfront town is famous for its glamorous beach resorts and beautiful boardwalks. Evoke all the tastes and smells of the legendary Riviera with this bright and enchanting backdrop. (No passport needed!) It’s perfect for productions of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels or The Boyfriend, plus Monte Carlo-themed events, casino nights, and more!
Finally, take a walk in the woods with our beautiful Autumn Leaves backdrop. This richly-hued autumn forest path is perfect for ballets, harvest gatherings, Halloween parties, and more! It’s sure to bring all the fall feels to your event, no matter what the weather is!
Americana and Under the Sea
Next, let’s shop ’til we drop! Whether you’re an athlete, an emo kid, a princess, a brain, or a basket case, come meet your friends for some fresh juice, pizza, and burgers at TheatreWorld’s Mall Interior. This backdrop is a ’80s suburban dream, perfect for productions of Mean Girls and ’80s and ’90s themed events. With the right props, it could even make a great Santaland!
When you’re done shopping, we’re going on a road trip! Zip down the highway and see America from behind the wheel. If you need to stop for gas and a bite to eat, pull right up to our Highway Rest Stop. This timeless backdrop is a great choice for any show set in rural America (such as Footloose, Bonnie and Clyde, or Waitress), Route 66-themed events, Country or “oldies” musical reviews, and more!
Finally, our last two new backdrops take us under the sea! For productions of The SpongeBob Musical or Finding Nemo, Jr., there’s no better choice than our animated Underwater Aloha! This colorful cartoon-style backdrop is sure to make a splash! Bubble Lights – B is another colorful underwater backdrop that was a huge hit with recital customers this spring. We couldn’t imagine a more fun backdrop for The Little Mermaid–but it’s also abstract enough to use for a wide variety of events, from fundraisers to pageants to fashion shows.
