TheatreWorld Supports Florida Council On Economic Education
TheatreWorld Backdrops, LLC was selected by the Florida Council on Economic Education (FCEE), to create a custom, scenic backdrop to support their 25th Anniversary Event scheduled for March 1, 2012 in Tampa, Florida.
Originally contacting TheatreWorld in early February, FCEE wanted to discuss the possibility of designing, producing, and delivering an original, custom backdrop in time for their scheduled 25th Anniversary Tampa Bay Business Hall Of Fame event March 1st in Tampa, Florida. We were asked to produce a very futuristic city and FCEE needed the giant piece of art to tie into the event’s branding, professionally-designed program (in development) and the supporting multimedia presentation (in development).
Normally the time frame would have proved to be way too tight, but since FCEE is heavily involved in our State and Local communities, TheatreWorld elected to throw normal scheduling caution to the wind and jump-in. FCEE and their media professionals provided concept art and images being used in the event’s presentations. TheatreWorld, supported by its design and production teams, and, using the concept art provided, created a unique, scenic backdrop and delivered it to the A La Carte Event Pavilion facility in Tampa, March 1st in less than 20 days, circa 33% of the traditional custom backdrop development cycle.
The Main Event
Members of the TheatreWorld management and creative teams were invited to attend the event, which they did. The entire event was first class, the speakers were excellent, and we were delighted to be part of such a worthwhile undertaking and look forward to the opportunity to support FCEE again in the future.

We appreciated the invitation to support and attend the event and TheatreWorld will continue to support FCEE and their mission throughout Florida where we can. Toward that end, as a first step to developing our support activities, every time we rent this backdrop to a client anywhere in the country, TheatreWorld Backdrops, LLC will donate 10% of the rental fees to FCEE in support of their mission and goals in financial education.
We would like to thank everyone who complimented us on the backdrop; it was our pleasure to provide this wonderful scenic image for this event. Since our work is used all over the country, we very seldom get to see it live and in use as we did at A La Carte; it was a real pleasure for us.
