  • Pittsford Sutherland High School presents MARY POPPINS

    The community of Pittsford was treated to a special presentation of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Marry Poppins - The Broadway Musical. Audiences witnessed feats of flight during the performance as well as and orchestra, impressive choreography and vocals. Several of our backdrops were featured during the show. Cherry Tree Lane, Bank Interior and of course London Rooftops were perfect compliments to the production.

  • Goshen High School (IN) presents TARZAN: THE STAGE MUSICAL

    SIMPLY SUPERB! With the help of Choral Director Katie O'Leary and other faculty, theatre students at Goshen High School (IN) put on a memorable live showing of the Disney classic, Tarzan. The set was elaborately decorated and the costumes were some of the most creative we've seen. Not to go unmentioned was the use of our Tropical Forest Daybreak backdrop. 

  • Ovation! Performing Arts Northwest presents THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE

    It was the third time co-founder/director Ron Milton put on the comedic production - the first happened to be the studio's first show on Bainbridge Island 15 years ago. That original show happened to be birthed over a breakfast table and was a huge success. The story itself is a hilarious tale of Frederic and his indentured apprenticeship to the pirates until his 21st birthday. Coincidentally, Frederic learns he was born on February 29th (leap year) which means he's to continue to serve the pirates another 63 years. Couple this with his love for Major-General Stanley's daughter (Mabel) and all the hilarious high seas mishaps that ensue. We were thrilled Ovation! chose our Pirate's Cove backdrop for the 3 weekend performance.

  • Collin College Raises Funds with Flair

    Collin College used our Streets of Havana backdrop to bring tremendous flair to a less-than colorful event space. The bright backdrop enhanced the performances of their musicians and dancers and added great depth to the room! 

  • Theatre Scrapbook Goes to Wonderland

    Follow Theatre Scrapbook down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland! We loved these colorful photos from their recent production, featuring TheatreWorld's Wonderland Gate - B backdrop. Great work, cast and crew!

  • Nesaquake's ONCE UPON A MATTRESS Was Fit for a Queen!

    Nesaquake Middle School gave TheatreWorld's Evil Queen Castle Interior backdrop the royal treatment during their recent production of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS! Adding a few key set pieces to this sprawling throne room makes even a narrow stage feel grand. Great work, Nesaquake drama students!

  • Lewisburg Area HS Presents a Practically Perfect MARY POPPINS

    "In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun"--and Lewisburg Area High School students look like they had a whole lot of fun in these photos from their recent production of MARY POPPINS! TheatreWorld's Victorian Park looks practically perfect on their stage. (And Bank Interior and London Rooftops look pretty great too.) Great work!

  • La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School Transported Us with Mediterranean Courtyard - B

    We enjoyed these beautiful photos from La Joya Juarez-Lincoln High School, who rented Mediterranean Courtyard - B for a recent performance. The lighting really brings out the dimensionality of this backdrop and the costumes contrast strikingly. We love the way you can feel the students' energy through these photos!

  • Freeport Area Senior High School Took Audiences to Heaven!

    Freeport Area Senior High School recently presented SISTER ACT and used TheatreWorld's Baroque Cathedral Interior to make their stage look heavenly! These pictures are a great example of how a using single drop plus a few set pieces create maximum impact while taking up minimal space, leaving plenty of room for blocking and choreography. Smart choice!

  • Christ Wesleyan Theatre Wows with SOUND OF MUSIC Sets

    Backdrops and set pieces that make them sing--these are a few of our favorite things! Christ Wesleyan Theatre rented TheatreWorld's Garden Ballroom backdrop this fall for their production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC and we were floored by these fantastic photos. The functional balcony, stairs, and the realistic paint work really sell the feeling that we're in an elaborate mansion. The chandelier, which gives the illusion of coming straight out of the backdrop's painted ceiling, is the icing on the cake. Beautiful job!

  • Miss Chelsea's Dance Academy Presents a Colorful NUTCRACKER

    We really enjoyed these vibrant NUTCRAKER photos from Miss Chelsea's Dance Academy! The pinks and purples they used to light our Grand Ballroom - B and Palace of Sweets backdrops really made the details pop and, with the costumes, created a whimsical and varied color palate for the whole production. Congratulations, cast, crew, and production team!

  • Diablo Ballet Presents a Creative NUTCRACKER

    Diablo Ballet's recent performance of THE NUTCRACKER SUITE looked absolutely elegant. Pictured in these beautiful photos are TheatreWorld's Baroque Parlor, Rose Terrace, and Starry Night backdrops--further proof that non-holiday backdrops can shine just as brightly as traditional holiday backdrops for all your seasonal events. "Bravo" to all involved!

  • A T-E-R-R-I-F-I-C CHARLOTTE'S WEB

    There's no need to be "humble" when your stage looks as "radiant" as Pearl High School Theatre's did during their recent production of CHARLOTTE'S WEB! Our Vintage Amusement Park backdrop, combined with their barnyard set pieces, straw-strewn stage, and patriotic bunting, transported audiences from Zuckerman's farm to the county fair. "Terrific" job, Pearl High School cast and crew!

  • The Savoyaires' Set Was a Perfect Match

    It can be tough to seamlessly integrate a backdrop with your own set pieces, but The Savoyaires recently did an impressive job doing just that! The intricately painted details on their stairs and platform blend right in with the carvings and flourishes of our ever popular Baroque Ballroom backdrop. Wonderful work, Savoyaires!

  • Pink Talking Fish Put on the Greatest Show

    Our Curtain Circus backdrop has never looked cooler than it did on stage with Pink Talking Fish! They rented Curtain Circus for their recent show THIS MUST BE THE CIRQUE, which also featured aerialists, inflatables, confetti, and more. It looks like it was one epic event!
